​Skapa Business Rules

I det inledande skedet av ett anskaffningsprojekt kan det vara lämpligt att ta fram projektspecifika business rules (BR) eller om de redan finns, att se över dem. Det ska göras innan kontraktsskrivning och produktion av teknisk information. Business Rules är regler som bestämmer hur teknisk information ska produceras, levereras och publiceras.
Som grund för arbetet med projektspecifika BR ska anskaffningsprojektet använda befintliga BR och de styrningar som finns för projektet:
  • S1000D version 4.1
  • DIG BR
  • FMV BR och
  • eventuellt VerkO-specifika BR
  • Målsättningarna som ligger till grund för anskaffningen som 
    • Systemmålsättning (SMS)
    • Krigsförbandsmålsättning (KFM)
    • Teknisk och Ekonomisk målsättning för Utbildningsmaterial (TEMU)
  • Eventuella kravspecifikationer
  • Konfigurationen av det tekniska systemet/förnödenheten som anskaffas
  • Informationsanalys; vem, vad, när och hur?

I arbetet med att ta fram projektspecifika BR tar man beslut i 10 olika kategorier. Besluten formar regler för hur projektet hanterar alla delarna i produktionen av den tekniska informationen. De kan vara av tre olika typer; REQ, BAS eller PRO. REQ är en generellt gällande regel, som måste uppfyllas. BAS är en regel där ett projekt väljer att luta sig emot FMVs generella regel alternativt anta en regel som är specifik för projektet, men som måste hålla sig inom FMVs generella ramar. PRO är en regel av sådan karaktär att FMV inte kan ange någon generell regel utan där projektet av nödvändighet måste specificera vad som ska gälla. De projektspecifika BR sparas som en lista med referenser.
